LONDON GUIDE: EATS!
Dinner on a boat, Sunday roasts, my repeat restaurants, the best bagel (in my humble opinion), and every bite in between. Here are the London restaurants I've checked off my list!
I’m elated to be back and kicking off the first few Substack posts of the year writing about all things London. I rang in the New Year with friends and pints at the pub, watched fireworks by the Eye, and of course tried a new restaurant.
I’ve spent about eight months (combined) in London and have the restaurant receipts to show for it. I’ll be kicking off this series with my first guide, eats! The days following I’ll be sharing drinks, cafes + bakeries, workouts, shopping, trips + stay, markets + outdoors, what’s on my list to try, and my London favs.
Let’s start with breakfast, shall we?
These spots don’t only serve breakfast, but it’s usually the meal I’ll go for with these places in mind.
Granger & Co: My favorite scrambled eggs (pictured above), and just place I can always count on.
Brunswick East: Something about an Aussie inspired cafe that’ll always get me.
Papo’s Bagels: My favorite bagel spot! If they have The Georgia Heirloom, aka the bagel with the chive cream cheese and heirloom tomato, get it.
It’s Bagels: If you happen to be heading to Primrose Hill, I’d make a stop here! Grab a coffee at the Little Bread Pedlar if there’s a wait.
The Apple Blue: I know there’s been hype for Milk nearby, but Apple Blue is a great option as well!
The Good Egg: Specifically the Stoke Newington location. You can walk to Stokey’s or Spence Bakery after to grab a flat white, then take a stroll around Clissold Park (another fav of mine).
26 Grains: If you happen to be staying in central London you can stop into 26 Grains, but I’d recommend getting there early since it’s small!
